9 Months Old!

I can not believe my little princess will be 9months old in 4days! It makes me tear up watching her grow up so fast and it seems like yesterday that I got to hold her for the first time in the NICU when she was two and half pounds! I just can't believe how much she has grown before our eyes and is smart as a whip! I know I have slacked at updating her baby blog with her progress, especially since she has progressed SO much in just a couple of months! She is such a wiggle worm and rolls all over the place! Her hands are now independant and she can pick up toys and any and everything in her reach, which has been a nightmare than a milestone lol. She has taken an interest in standing rather than crawling although she has started pulling her knees under her since watching her boyfriend, Hunter, crawl all over the place lol! She has gotten the front end working correctly since she can push all the way up on her hands so now she just needs to get the legs to cooperate lol. She can sit up by herself although she is still working on her balance and her obession with grabbing everything in sight lol. She can stand by herself with her hands on something for about 15min or so if she doesn't get too excited and lands on her butt! She is getting more mobile by the day and is always keeping mommy and daddy on their toes!

Her first word officially was "dada" and she has worn it out ever since! lol She understands who dada is too considering she yells it at him and whines it when he isn't around until she hears his voice or he comes home. Definitely a Daddy's girl! There are so many mini milestones she has made.. too many to list, but she has grown up so much! We love her so much and I can only imagine how much I'm going to cry on her first birthday! :(

First Beach Trip

Cassie finally got to go to the beach! She was not thrilled about the sand or the cold water, but she loved playing with her Daddy and Hunter all day long! I absolutely loved her new bathing suit that I got her although Daddy was not happy that it was a two-piece lol. All in all she had a great time for her first visit to the beach! Here are a few pictures of her experience at the beach.

Cassie has a boyfriend!

As we all know, Cassie is my beautiful baby girl who just so happened to inherit her parent's good looks and apparently our charm as well. lol Cassie already has herself a boyfriend who she LOVES to play with all the time. His name is Hunter "Ladiesman" Lynch and he is such a sweetheart! He is the little boy of Josh and Ashley Lynch who are one of the Navy families we hang out with here in Va. I'm so glad we have met such awesome friends here and I know Cassie is happy we have too! lol They are super cute and play so great together. He even got her her first pink rose just because he loves her so much lol (fake of course..haha). They also have another baby friend they play with named Audrey... we just have our own little Navy Baby Daycare going on up here! lol I can't say Daddy is too thrilled about her first boyfriend and he has forbidden her to date til she is 50yrs old, but what Daddy don't know won't hurt him...lol! Here are just a few pictures that I have of them to playing together.. these are so going in the baby book! lol
