Cassidy's First Easter!

I'm so happy that Cassidy had such a great first easter! She loved her toys she got from the easter bunny and she got to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouses' Easter Egg Hunt episode this morning lol. Since daddy had duty today we decided to spend our Easter with our friends Justine and Madeline!

We went to Hunt Club Farms Easter Egg Hunt and had a great time! It was so nice outside and it was a great day to be out in the sun looking for easter eggs lol. She was so interested in everything else but the eggs; however, we had fun finding the eggs and kinda cheating alittle trying to find the good prizes inside lol! We had our on little photoshoot with all the cute easter decor and the easter bunnies! We got to see all the goats, chickens, bunnies, peacocks, and there was even a llama! To top off the day, we went on a hay ride around the farm.

We had such a great time and I can't wait til next year when she will actually get to run around looking for eggs, pet the animals, and even ride the pony rides!

6 Months

Holy crap where has the time gone?! Cassidy is already 6 months old and half way to being 1 year old!!! No No No she is suppose to stay my baby girl forever! She is getting so big so fast before I know it she will be walking and talking!

She is now about 13lbs and 24in long! She is trying to sit up on her own and starting to want to stand up. She is already a talkative little girl with her continuous babbling pretty much all day long. I’ve even caught her a couple times, after I have put her to bed. babbling to her mobile and her Munk Munk! There is never a dull moment with my little stinker! She is eating lots of baby food and so far she loves it all! Lol Her favorite foods, so far, would have to be green beans, carrots, and applesauce. She hasn’t given me problems so far with eating baby food, but she gets excited when she gets to eat those! She loves watching movies and cartoons and her favorite right now has been Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Since it has been so nice outside the past few weeks, we have been taking trips to the park in the beautiful sunshine! She absolutely loves seeing all the dogs and ducks everywhere and getting to play outside. My little sunshine has been a ball full of energy and loves to play, giggle, and smile all day long!

This past month she has been doing a lot of traveling and meetings new people! She got to go visit her great-Papaw and great-MeMe in Statesville, her big sister Carson in Wadesboro, and a bunch of people at mommy’s friend Hanna’s baby shower in Cheraw. Of course she flirted her way into everyone’s hearts while she visited with everyone although she was not fond of the actual traveling part herself.

She has changed so much in the past month that I can only imagine what is in store for this upcoming month, but I’m sure it will be filled with lots of smiles and sunshine!

Playin at the Park

This past week has been so beautiful and we just had to take advantage of the nice warm weather so I decided to take my little bumblebee to the park! We went to Mount Trashmore which is a big park with a lake in the middle and two playgrounds. Mommy got plenty of excerise walking around the lake and we even got to sit around and look at the ducks and doggies as they passed by. She loved being out in the sun and got all excited watching the ducks walk around...her and scooter could definitely have a ball chasing those ducks around together! lol I can't wait for it to warm up alittle more so we can head over to the beach!

5 months old!

My little sweet pea is 5 months old! She is getting so big and I wish she could just stay little forever! She was 10lbs 9oz and 22.6in long on Feb. 24th and she is now 11lbs and almost 23in long! She has grown so much in only a month's time and is almost out of her 3month clothes and into 3-6month clothes. She is such a sweetheart and never makes a peep unless she is hungry or wants something. She is so curious, determined, independant, and a snuggle bunny. She is now starting to sit up with assistance so I have recently started feeding her rice cereal with a little bit of applesauce for taste and she has gotten so good at eating her big girl food! She loves to sit up and look around and be apart of the conversation like a little grown-up. She is now sleeping in her crib like a big girl and she does so well sleeping all night til 8am. She loves watching her disney movies and she has recently gotten attached to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She has started to giggle and smile when you make funny faces and noises and she loves being silly with Daddy.

She has her Daddy wrapped around her fingers! She loves for him to play with her before bedtime and then curl up on his chest and pass out for the night. It's so sweet! She has stolen both of our hearts and I just can't help but get excited every morning when I hear her playing in her crib. I melt everytime I see her smile and hear her little giggle as she plays with her hands and feet! She also got to meet her MeMe and Papaw Davidson, her great-aunt heather, and her 2nd cousin Maddie who fell in love with her as soon as they saw her! She loved cuddling up with them and taking in all of the new sights and sounds. I can't believe how much she has changed in just a month's time and I can't imagine how much she is going to change in the month ahead!
